Expert Witness Services

When a law firm in the United States needed an expert witness in a case against a group of Consumer Credit Reporting Companies, they knew where to look.

They approached an Imperial researcher from the Department of Mathematics, who is an expert in financial statistics.  As the researcher had worked with Imperial Consultants on previous projects, he was aware of the services on offer and chose to direct this project through our organisation.

Once onboard, Imperial Consultants led the contractual negotiations, ensuring the contract terms were agreeable to both parties.  At all stages of the negotiation process the consultant was kept up-to-date.

Following signature of the contract, we turned our focus toward the day-to-day financial and admin roles required, including:

• Issuing monthly invoices
• Chasing up payments
• Dealing with any arising issues
