Case study: Health Management Systems in Moldova

The main objective of the project was to review family medicine and health management training to strengthen the capacity of local providers and implement changes in service delivery to support the restructuring of the health system in the country.

Imperial Consultants has provided A to Z services from submitting the Expression of Interest (EoI) and developing a competitive proposal to the successful implementation and completion of the contract.

Our services included:

Pre-contractual phase

• ensure the compliance to the application process and requirements
• coordination of the project consortium
• preparation and submission of EoI
• budget development and submission of the proposal
• negotiation of the contract and legal support

Implementation phase

• administrative support including travel arrangements and events coordination
• financial management & budget control
• project management to ensure deliverables and milestones’ completion
• sub-contracting arrangements

Reporting phase

• regular financial reporting
• credit control and payment administration
• quality assurance and control

The overall project was a success and the recommendations given in the final report will be used by the local authorities to improve the health system in Moldova.
