From Anopheles to zebra fish, from Hubble’s solar panels to fungal growth, the Light Microscopy imaging facilities at Imperial College London have seen it all.

The facility boasts the most up to date light microscopy equipment, allowing users from all disciplines to visualise and measure their samples. Close relationships with the photonics research group at Imperial also mean the facility has access to the latest developments in light imaging.

The facility manager, Dr Martin Spitaler, and his team have many years experience working with diverse techniques and samples. They provide full user support and training as well as advice and guidance on all steps of an imaging project, from sample preparation to the best methods to analyse unstructured, multi-dimensional image data.
