10 May 2012 From cricket bats to solar panels, Coca-Cola bottles to windscreen wipers, join Imperial Consultants at the Imperial Festival this weekend to find out about some of the weird, wonderful and worthy challenges our experts take on.

On May 11 and 12, Imperial College London throws open its doors to the public for its first science-based Festival. The Festival features everything from forensics to robots and artwork to enterprise, delivered through a programme of hands-on research demonstrations, talks, workshops and street performances.

Imperial Consultants will be showcasing a selection of the most intriguing challenges put to our consultants by industry, government and charities, through the interactive display of consultancy related products and equipment. Based in the Research Marquee on the Queen's lawn, we’ll also be encouraging people to enter our ‘Ask an Expert’ competition – where the most innovative question, as judged by an Imperial Professor, will win a detailed answer.
