Paul Docx says Imperial College London is keen to make the most of the facilities it has. "We're trying to reach the sort of people who traditionally have not used universities as a source for their technological needs, companies who are trying to develop new products and new technologies".

Details of programme are available at the BBC's Working Lunch website.

Paul was speaking at the LA4B event on the 11th March 2004 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre which was organised by the LDA. Participants were able to see if the assets on offer could benefit their businesses.

The LDA's Jody Chatterjee explained "It's a new way to try to bring business and the public sector together, It's a win-win situation - the businesses get to resolve their problems and the public sector gets funding."

LondonAssets4Business (LA4B) is a service provided by the London Development Agency (LDA) to identify facilities and services in the public sector that may be of use to them.
