Natural Sciences

The main responsibility of the Natural Sciences team at Imperial Consultants is to manage all consultancies and projects that involve academics from Imperial College’s Faculty of Natural Sciences.  In addition, we also liaise with the other teams to manage projects that are multidisciplinary and therefore go across the Faculties.

We have experience in providing assistance for a wide variety of consultancy activities, including: tender submission; expert witness activities; testing services; equipment development and expert advice.  Our primary function within a consultancy project is to manage the commercial aspects of the work on behalf of the academic.  As part of this we undertake contractual negotiations, project administration, management of financial aspects (including invoicing, paying fees and budgeting) and act as a point of liaison between the academic and the company on commercial matters.  We are also available to provide ad-hoc assistance and advice, when required.

In addition to consultancy, Imperial Consultants also offers project management services.  We’re managing the European Union FP7 project Model-In, as well as the communications and outreach programme for the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College London.
