Computing and Technology

The Department of Computing at Imperial is recognised as one of the leading research departments in Europe. It is the largest computing department in the UK that has consistently achieved the top rating in all the Governments Research Assessment Exercises (RAE), with 60 academics, 70 research assistants and over 100 students.

The Department has a long tradition of successful relations with industry. including collaborations with companies including Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Symbian, BT and Phillips.
