Twitter policy

The @ConsultImperial Twitter account is managed by the Web and Communications team, on behalf of colleagues across the organisation.

We do not use any automation (such as tools which generate tweets from RSS feeds) to post content on Twitter.

If you follow us, you can expect between 1-5 tweets a day covering the following:

  • Information on Imperial Consultants and our projects
  • News updates on our website
  • Links to media coverage of Imperial academics or facilities
  • Science, technology and knowledge transfer activities
  • Occasional live coverage of events

Followers

We do not automatically follow back new followers. Being followed back does not imply endorsement of any kind.

Availability

We will update and monitor our Twitter account during office hours, Monday to Friday. Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and Imperial Consultants accepts no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.

@Replies and DirectMessaging

We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Twitter.

The Imperial Consultants Web and Communications team reads all @replies and Direct Messages and ensures that any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed to the relevant people.

The usual ways of contacting Imperial Consultants for official correspondence are detailed in the contact us section of our website.
